We are an active and vibrant part of our community, and enthusiastically support, and even lead, charities and organizations that improve the lives of Palm Beach County residents. Donation to WPB PD Back to School Supply Drive

The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan recently donated school supplies to the West Palm Beach Police Department for its Back to School Supply Drive held at Salento Coffee Shop in downtown West Palm Beach. The supplies were distributed to local schools, who will, in turn, give them to students whose families are unable to afford supplies.

LPBC Leadership Celebration 2021

On June 3, 2021, Andrea McMillan joined fellow members and friends of Leadership Palm Beach County for the Leadership Celebration 2021 event at the South Florida Science Center & Aquarium. The event celebrated the 2020 and 2021 Leadership Excellence Award nominees and recipients in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, as well as the Leadership Engage Classes of 2020 and 2021 graduates. Andrea is a graduate of the LPBC Class of 1998, and is an active alumna.

Painting a Needy Resident’s Home – PYHO/ West Palm 100

The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan supports revitalizing our community and lending a helping hand to others in need. On March 27, 2021, Andrea McMillan spent a half-day painting the home of a needy, deserving, and very grateful, West Palm Beach resident. She was joined by her daughter and volunteers from West Palm 100, a nonprofit benefiting WPB children, families, and neighborhoods, and Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County, a nonprofit that paints houses for qualified, needy residents.

Winner- 2021 Hero in Medicine Award- PBC Medical Society

The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan is pleased to announce that the nonprofit, Clinics Can Help (CCH), was selected as the winner of the 2021 Health Care Provider Hero Award in the non-physician category of the Heroes in Medicine Awards, for its tireless work providing medical equipment and supplies to those in need, even during the pandemic. The award was presented by the Palm Beach County Medical Society. 2021 PACE Palm Beach Pick-up The Pace Walkathon

To help the Pace Center for Girls, Palm Beach, celebrate 25 years of creating better futures for girls in Palm Beach County, Andrea McMillan ran 125.65 miles in the Pace Palm Beach’s Pick up the Pace Walkathon — a virtual event beginning on February 15, 2021, and ending on March 15, 2021. The PACE Palm Beach Center for Girls provides academic instruction and social services to at-risk middle and high-school Palm Beach County girls.

2021 LPBC Songwriters In The Round

On March 21, 2021 Andrea McMillan joined fellow Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) members and friends for Songwriters in the Round, LPBC’s annual signature fundraising event, which brings Grammy-Award winning Nashville songwriters to perform in the round in Palm Beach County. Funds raised from this event help support “Leadership GROW,” a leadership program for PBC high-school students. 2021 Barky Pines Puppy Love 5k

The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan supports Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, which finds loving homes for dogs, cats, birds, and even farm animals, in our community. The 2nd Annual Barky Pines Puppy Love 5k, held on February 13, 2021, raised funds for this very worthwhile nonprofit, while allowing the community to show some puppy love.

2020 7th Annual CCH Golf Tournament

Andrea McMillan, Board Chair of nonprofit, Clinics Can Help (CCH), supported the 7th Annual CCH Golf Tournament at Wellington National Country Club on October 30, 2020. Tournament proceeds helped provide free durable medical equipment and supplies to children with brain, spinal cord, and congenital injuries or abnormalities. Caring for Our Community During The COVID-19 Crisis

On August 28, 2020, Andrea McMillan and her daughter joined United Way of PBC volunteers in distributing personal protective equipment (PPE) to over 100 health and human service agencies in Palm Beach County. The work took place at Clinics Can Help (CCH), which received 150,000 facial masks for distribution. Andrea serves as Board Chair of CCH. 6th Annual CRIBS Event- Cribs “R” for Infant and Baby Safety

In honor of “Safer Sleep Week,” on May 12, 2020 Andrea McMillan joined fellow Clinics Can Help board and staff members at Clinics Can Help in giving away 300 new Pack ‘n Play portable cribs to families unable to afford safe sleeping environments for their infants.  The cribs were funded by The Law Enforcement Trust Fund, through the generosity of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, and The Knights of Columbus. Partner nonprofit agencies helped distribute the cribs to the families, who also received diapers from The Cotton Bottom Diaper Bank. Andrea, who serves as Clinics Can Help Board Chair, is pictured here with some few happy recipients.

Judge- 36th Annual William T. Dwyer Awards for Excellence in Education

The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan salutes outstanding educators, especially those in Palm Beach County. On April 18, 2020 Andrea McMillan served as a judge for finalists for the 36th Annual William T. Dwyer Awards for Excellence in Education. 2020 Bridge The Gap 5k-Take Stock in Children, PB County

On February 22, 2020, Andrea McMillan ran the Bridge the Gap 5k, on Singer Island—over the 65 foot-high Blue Heron Bridge and back-to support Take Stock in Children, a nonprofit that helps deserving low-income Palm Beach County youth escape poverty, by offering them college scholarships, caring volunteer mentors, and hope for a better life. She earned a spot on the podium, placing first in her age group.

2020 Read Across America Day

As part of the National Education Association’s “Read Across America Day,” and to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday and promote literacy, Andrea McMillan read a book and led craft activities with children enrolled in the afterschool program at Urban Youth Impact, a West Palm Beach nonprofit serving children living in Palm Beach County’s most at-risk neighborhoods. The event was organized by Women United, a group dedicated to helping the United Way of Palm Beach County improve the lives of Palm Beach County’s neediest residents.

2019 CCH “Gathering of Good” Holiday Party

On December 5, 2019 Andrea McMillan celebrated the holidays and Clinics Can Help’s success at a “Gathering of Good” holiday party at its West Palm Beach headquarters. Clinics Can Help works to ensure that Palm Beach County children and adults receive the medical equipment and supplies they need. In 2018 Clinics Can Help provided approximately $1.1 million in medical equipment to 2,800 children and adults. 2019 LPBC Holiday Breakfast

The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan was a proud sponsor of the 2019 Leadership Palm Beach County Holiday Breakfast on December 13, 2019 at the Kravis Center. Andrea McMillan joined scores of other community leaders at the breakfast, where toys were collected to benefit children at the Milagro Center in South Palm Beach County, YWCA in Central County, and the Edna Runner Tutorial Center in North County. Gift cards were collected for teens at the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center in the Glades.

On February 23, 2019, Andrea McMillan attended the 6th Annual Mayor’s Ball, hosted by the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County. The net proceeds from the ball are used to help end homelessness in Palm Beach County.

2018 Holiday Reading & Cheer-Highland Elementary

Books save lives! The Law Offices of Andrea McMillan supports literacy, and gives away books to children at every available opportunity. Andrea McMillan has unofficially adopted a class at Highland Elementary School in Lake Worth. She visits the class a few times a year, always bringing a book that she reads to them and leaves with them, along with treats for each child. Here she is with some of her “little friends” in the class on December 21, 2018.

On October 6, 2018, Andrea McMillan ran the Hustle2EndHunger5k, to support CROS Ministries and its mission of feeding the hundreds of thousands of hungry children and adults in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Gleaning to Feed The Hungry

On June 6, 2018 Andrea McMillan, her daughter, and other volunteers, gleaned mangoes in a Lantana orchard to feed hungry people in our community. The event was hosted by the United Way of Palm Beach County and CROS Ministries, a nonprofit that feeds those who are hungry and food insecure.

On September 12, 2018, Andrea McMillan joined Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) alumni at a welcome reception for the LPBC Class of 2019 at WPB Brewery & Wine Vault. LPBC is comprised of community leaders working to improve the lives of people in Palm Beach County, through various initiatives.  Andrea McMillan is a member of the LPBC Class of 1998.

On July 17, 2018, Andrea McMillan, fellow community leaders from Leadership Palm Beach County, and high-schoolers—including her daughter—­­­­­cooked a meal at Quantum House, which temporarily houses families who have traveled to Palm Beach County to obtain care for their seriously ill children.
